Oracle Linux is a free Linux distribution aimed mostly for enterprise use. It is based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux source code, like CentOS and Fedora. The main reason to choose Oracle Linux over RHEL is mainly for the cheaper support contracts, or if you have Oracle-specific hardware/software. It is also the OS used in Oracle Cloud. Other than cheaper support, there's not really much advantage over using it over RHEL unless you have Oracle hardware or are using Oracle Cloud.
