VM1 is the second VM on CollabVM. The VM currently runs Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Service Pack 1 and is fully updated with the latest updates (June 2022 as of writing). It is mostly a stock installation, containing few preinstalled programs. Like most VMs on CollabVM, it comes with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Notepad++, and 7-Zip installed by default. It also comes with WinSCP, which is also present on VM4 and VM5. Along with the other Windows VMs (except VM 0b0t and the Install Any OS VMs), the VM user has a disk quota set to be able to use only 15 GB of space, and the VM really has 150 GB of space. It has 8 GB of RAM, as is typical for most VMs.
It is the oldest VM on the site, being in continuous operation since June 2015. It is one of two VMs that have never changed operating systems.
