'''VM3''' is the fourth VM on [[CollabVM]]. It currently runs Artix Linux 6.1.9 and comes preinstalled with several programs such as Mozilla Firefox, Ungoogled Chromium, LibreOffice, Wine, and a few other common tools, and even some PopCap games such as Big Money, Peggle, Plants vs Zombies and Zuma. It does not have a disk quota set. It is the only VM aside from [[VM 0b0t]] to not be hooked up to the CollabNet AD because Linux does not support Active Directory natively (''which is unsurprising considering it is a proprietary Microsoft technology''), although CollabNet blocks still affect the network. Like most VMs, it comes with 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of hard disk space. It is the only preinstalled Linux VM.

VM3 is the fourth VM on CollabVM. It currently runs Arch Linux 6.1.9 and comes preinstalled with several programs such as Mozilla Firefox, Ungoogled Chromium, LibreOffice, Wine, and a few other common tools, and even some PopCap games such as Big Money, Peggle, Plants vs Zombies and Zuma. It does not have a disk quota set. It is the only VM aside from VM 0b0t to not be hooked up to the CollabNet AD because Linux does not support Active Directory natively (which is unsurprising considering it is a proprietary Microsoft technology), although CollabNet blocks still affect the network. Like most VMs, it comes with 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of hard disk space. It is the only preinstalled Linux VM.

The VM has changed operating systems several times, mostly to different Linux distributions.

The VM also comes with the virtio GPU which allows it to run 2D and some 3D applications and games (albeit slowly), making it one of the only VMs which has a true graphics card (the other being VM8 which uses Cirrus)
