The VM has been mysteriously reinstated into existence, but the VM still doesn't show up in the VM list. The records of the VM existing in this day and age is still an enigma to us all. But you may be wondering, how did I get newer documentation of this VM, and pictures in high quality of this supposedly gone VM?? I can assure you I did not borrow this trade secret from someone else, but I will not disclose any more information to prevent uninvited guests and various assailants from entering the VM unwarranted. Let's just put it like this: ''I knew exactly the way in.'' |

VM2 is the third VM in CollabVM. The VM currently runs Microsoft Windows XP Professional x86 Service Pack 3 and Windows 2000 Professional SP4.
The VM contains several preinstalled programs, including 7-Zip, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft Visual J# 2005, Mypal68 (a fork of Mozilla Firefox 68 for Windows XP), Superium, Notepad++, Everything, and all of the essential updates available for XP. The VM has a Obama theme and wallpaper set by default. Both the Windows XP and Windows 2000 partitions have 40GB of disk space, since May 27, 2023. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with a QXL graphics card, allowing it to run some basic 2D applications.
VM2 was the only other VM along with VM1 to not have changed operating systems since its introduction, until May 27, 2023 when it switched to a dual-boot configuration. It is currently the only official VM on the site to have two operating systems installed, but VM3 also had a dual-boot setup at some point.
