CollabVM Discord: Difference between revisions

In mid December 2019, after the aforementioned e-drama cooled off and the coast was clear, the server was reopened, and was fairly active. However, on September 24, 2020, after one of the longest and most aggravating e-drama shitfestsdramas in CollabVM history, the server was terminated by discord for hacking. Dartz then created the "CollabVM Discord 2", which went fully public, and is the current official discord server.

On October 31, 2020, a verification system was instituted to keep people who don't comply with Rule 4 and other various undesirable entities out of the server. This verification system consisted of a single channel with no privacy. This made it very easy for the staff to lose track of things, and peoplevery rarely would onlypeople get verified once in a blue moon. It was also prone to constant shitposting, burying people who would potentially be of value to the server. This would persist until 2023, when the old verification system was decommissioned and replaced with a new, better verification system based on Ticket Tool, Double Counter and Gaius Cicereius.
